We stayed at the Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel for one night, and were fortunate enough to be booked into one of their beautiful Privilege rooms.
The room was very light, bright and modern and we had our own coffee machine – a very welcome sight after a long journey! The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with fridge, laptop safe and complimentary Wi-Fi, which is available throughout the hotel.
This centrally located hotel was really easy to find and with car parking right outside the front door, it was no hassle and the cathedral and main shopping area was only a short walk away. The staff on check in were very friendly and efficient (we requested some soya milk for our room and it arrived within minutes!).
During our stay we tried out the leisure facilities which comprised of a good size swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. Again the staff were very helpful and the facilities were clean and well maintained.
