Last week I had the pleasure of visiting two Warwickshire venues that are both ideal for corporate events.
Woodland Grange is in Leamington Spa, just 3 miles from the train station and with the M40, M42, M6, M69 all within a short drive from the venue it’s in a great location!
In terms of event space Woodland Grange has tons of natural daylight, plenty of grounds and lots of break out areas. The largest meeting room can accommodate up to 200 theatre style and with 114 good standard bedrooms on site the venue would be ideal for a residential conference.
I liked the fact that there was a chilled out bar separate to the main bar that serves burgers etc, shows the football and has a pool table, perfect if you’re a longer stay guest wanting something a little more informal.
Other facilities include a fitness room, sauna & Jacuzzi and 16 acres of grounds to explore.
The Arden Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon was the second venue I visited, backing onto the river and adjacent to the RSC, it’s a beautiful hotel in which to sit and simply sit and watch the world go by.
A contemporary venue but with bags of character, this 45 bedroom hotel is the ideal base for visiting historic Stratford-upon-Avon. If it’s a conference you’re after then there is a lovely meeting room accommodating up to 40 theatre style, and what could be better than relaxing after a meeting on a sunny terrace overlooking the river!
