On our most recent venue visits we looked at three hotels in Surrey and Sussex.
The weekend started with a show round at the beautiful 5 star boutique hotel – Alexander House, followed by lunch and a relaxing time using their leisure facilities, which include the Utopia Spa.
What a beautiful hotel it is, with various room types from standard rooms to suites and the new cedar lodge suites, 2 restaurants – reflections and their 3AA rosette restaurant AG’s. The hotel would be perfect for your meeting or conference with the Shelley Suite seating up to 120 delegates theatre style, alternatively it would be great for a private dining experience or boardroom meeting.
If you’re looking for a luxurious countryside venue in Sussex or Surrey, that’s well connected and has all you need for happy delegates, then we can certainly recommend Alexander House.
Our next visit was to Langshott Manor just 10 miles from Alexander House, and located in Horley. This is a beautiful 4 red star hotel. With only 22 bedrooms the hotel would be perfect for having exclusive use for a private group, with a 3AA rosette restaurant. We were lucky enough to taste the food which was delicious!
If you require business meeting rooms near Gatwick Airport, Langshott Manor has a selection of interesting options that seat up to 60 theatre style, all mixing character features with contemporary furnishings and design.
To finish off the weekend we visited the modern Crowne Plaza Gatwick, this would be great for your meeting or conference with the hotel approximately 15 minutes away from Gatwick airport. With 11 meeting rooms and capacities of up to 250 delegates theatre style plus 294 bedrooms, this hotel can also accommodate all your guests if you are looking for a residential conference in Sussex.
